Air source heat pump does not turn on
Mar 08, 2022
If your heat pump won't turn on at all, Inno Thermal believes it may be caused by one of four main problems:
Thermostat issues: First, check that your programmable thermostat is set to turn on the heat at the correct time. If all is well, the problem could be a wrong calibration causing your thermostat to read the wrong temperature or an electrical issue preventing the thermostat from communicating with the heat pump. In either case, you'll need to have your thermostat serviced by a professional.
Power Loss: Sometimes, the trip switch is the source of the problem. Check to make sure your circuit breakers are in the correct positions. However, if this keeps happening, it's likely a sign of electrical failure in the heat pump and you should have professional service.
